Fishing Report
07/27/10
A bit of a slow morning, but the afternoon picked up and we had
some really good fishing. The pool fish was 7 3/4lbs and we had several
fish in the 7lb class. Alot fo fish were caught with jigs and gulps bait.
The weather looks very good for tomorrow, come down
early because the boat is limited.
07/25/10
Some real nice Fluke have come on board in the 5 - 6lb range.
We also have had some nice size Sea Bass come up. A couple guys
have limited out. The weather looks real good for tomorrow.
We will update more later.
07/24/10
Tough conditions this morning, hardly any drift. The tide was
up against the wind. Some guys ended up with between 3 ande 4
keepers. The biggest fish was around 7 1/2 lbs. We also had some
nice Sea Bass mixed in, but overall it was a bit slower than it has been.
The weather looks great for tomorrow, it should cool off a bit. Make sure you
are there early in the morning, we left early today.
07/23/10 update
Fishing ended up being decent today. Pool fish was just around 8lbs.
The wind should be out of the west tomorrow which will make
for very favorable conditions. The jig guys will be there Sat.,
Sun., and Mon. to provide you with the best jigs for the
lowest prices. See you in the am.
07/23/10
Sorry we didn't report yesterday, fishing was a bit slow in
the am but we ended up with a strong afternoon. We ended up catching
some nice fisb. Today we have already put 3 fish over 6lbs on the
boat and we are off to a solid start. The weather sounds good the
weekend, a bit warm, but conditions look favorable for good fishing.
We will update you later.
07/21/10
Slow morning, not much of a drift. Fishing picked up in the
afternoon, some people had between 4 and 5 keepers. Fluke
averaged around 7 1/2 lbs. We also had some nice Sea Bass mixed
in. The wind should be out of the west tomorrow, and sounds like
another great day, Be there nice and early.... remember the boat
only takes a certain limit.
07/20/10
Good start to the morning. Some nice Fluke have come
on board, up to 6lbs. Soe guys already have 2 - 3 keepers. It
is a beautiful day out here, a nice breeze and it is not too hot.
07/19/10
Tough conditions today. Slower than it has been overall in the last
couple of days. Some of the fish taken on jigs and whole squid.
The biggest fish was right about 5 1/2lbs. The weather looks
good for the next couple of days so come on down. Make sure
you bring your spinning pole, along with your jigs, that will
definately help you.
07/18/10
Slow in the am but picked up by mid morning with some nice
fish comming on board. Fluke in the 5 - 7lb range and
one weighing in over 10lbs. Beautiful day adn conditions look
good for the next couple of days. Alot of fishcaught on jigs.
07/17/10
Like we thought, fishing is much better today. The swell
has gone down, and fishing has greatly improved. Alot of
people have their limits. We have fish in the 5 - 6lb range,
alot of shorts and some nice Sea Bass mixed in. Very good fishing!
07/16/10
The ground swell went way down today. We saw some real nice Fluke,
some in the 3 -5lb range, and some nice Sea Bass. The drift
got very fast toward the end of the day. The forcasst is very
good for the weekend. I expect the fishing to improve, as
the swell goes away. See you in the am.
07/15/10
Still a bit slow on the Fluke side. Alot of shorts, not that many keepers
but we do have a nice amount of Sea Bass. The weather
looks decent for tomorrow. The swell is finially dying. Any questions?
Give us a call 732-974-9606.
07/14/10
Slow fishing today due to a big ground swell that has been
hanging around. It seems to really have slowed things up. It is
not a matter of the fish not being there. The swell should be straightend out
for tomorrow and we can get back to business.
07/11/10
There was still a bit of a roll in the ocean today, it was supossed to
be gone....made for a slow pick this morning. We were however able
to put together something this afternoon, with a good amout of Sea Bass
and some nice keeper Fluke comming aboard. The swell should subside
and we should be in for a good couple of days. There were several
fish in the 7 - 8lb class today. See you in the morning.
07/10/10
update
It slowed down a bit in the afternoon, lost the drift. We did however
manage another fish over 10lbs. The weather looks execllent
for tomorrow, the swell should be gone. Come on down and
take advantage of the action
07/10/10
Off to a much better start today. The ground swell is going
away. There are alot more shorts and some nice keepers.
10The biggest fish is just around 8 1/2lbs.
07/09/10
Nice day, but the low pressure off shore made a big ground
swell. Picked slowly all day and ended up with some fish.
The biggest fish was about 7 1/2lbs. The ground swell should
die by tomorrow, and the forcast looks good for Saturday
and Sunday. Sorry for the late update but i couldn't get
to a computer. See you tomorrow
07/08/10
Fishing was off to a really good start again today. Good drift,
catching anywhere between 5 and 10 keepers on each drift,
with alot of short action in between. The weather is much
cooler today and is suppossed to be this way through
tomorrow. And again the jig is the weapon of choice.
The biggest fish is up around 6lbs.
07/07/10
Decent pick in the morning. We lost the drift in the afternoon.
Some guys got some nice keepers. Up to 5 fish. Overall
just fair today.
07/06/10
The fishing is good. Fish up to 6 1/2 lbs. Some guys have
up to 6 keepers. This is very difficult fishing, we are fishing in the
rocks and it is very important to be patient. You are going to loose
some jigs. There are people that have their limits, But you must
stick with it! and it will be extreamly rewarding.
07/05/10
Fishing was not as good as yesterday. There was very little wind.
We had a good amount of shorts and some guys managed between 4 and
5 keepers. Some did better than others. Tomorrow looks
good, come on down!
07/04/10
We are off to a good start again this morning. Biggest fish so far is 6lbs.
People have between 3 and 4 keepers and a fair amount of
shorts. The wind is out of the west, with a lite crowd. You should
have come! The wind shoulod stay out of the west tomorrow,
which means good fishing. Take advantage now.
07/03/10
Ended up being a good day out on the Ocean. Fishing was good.
The biggest fish comming over the rail was 11 lb. The fish was
taken on a jig, with a lite spinning rod. The action was good most of
the day. There were several fish in the 5 -6lb range taken. Bring your
lite spinner and your bucktail and we will see you in the morning.
07/03/10
Good morning everyone, we are off to a good start today. There are
some guys with a couple of keepers already. The biggest fish on
board is around 5lbs. The weather looks great for the next couple
of days.
06/30/10
It has recently been bought to my attention that there have been
some Fluke boats that have been exagerating exactly what they caught.
My fishing report is based on how the boat as a whole has caught
fish, not just one or two individuals. Todays fishing started off slower,
but has improved as the day has gone on. Some nice fish in the 5 - 6 lb
range have beern caught, and the guys using the jigs have done better. To sum
it up, I always try my best to give you an accurate fishing report, even if it
is not so good. I am not going to lie to get you on the boat. The weather is beautiful
today and it sounds real good for the weekend.
06/29/10
We are off to a good start today, we already have a
9 pounder on the boat. Some guys have 2 and 3 fish with alot
of short action and some nice Sea Bass.
06/27/10
Another good day today. A couple of guys with limits, alot
of guys with 3 -4 - 5 fish. Several fish in the 6lb range. The
weather looks good for tomorrow. This is the third solid day
in a row. See you in the morning.
06/26/10 3:30 pm update
The big fish are starting to show up. The biggest Fluke was
10lb 9oz today. We had alot in the 4 - 5lb range. Wind should
be out of the west tomorrow, come on down.
06/26/10 10:10am
Beautiful day today, the wind is out of the west and

Several fish in the 4 - 5 lb range.
